Dr. Tracy Goodson-Espy Named Assistant Director of the Doctoral Program

The Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership is very pleased to announce that Dr. Tracy Goodson-Espy will assume the role as Assistant Director beginning in Spring Semester, 2017. Dr. Goodson-Espy is Professor of Curriculum & Instruction (Mathematics Education). She earned a B.S. and an M.S. in Mathematics from Middle Tennessee State University and an Ed.D. in Mathematics Education from George Peabody College of Vanderbilt University. She is a prolific grant writer and has served as a principal investigator on several National Science Foundation projects, several NC Quest projects for teacher education, and Z. Smith Reynolds project. She has also served on the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Science, Mathematics, and Technology Center. In addition to serving as Dissertation Chair and Advisor to doctoral students, she also teaches research methods in the doctoral program.
